It is not unusual for pet owners to permit their pets to sleep with them at night. In deed, one third of pet owners have at some point, permitted their pets to sleep on their beds. Dogs provide a companionship that can't be given by any other breed of animal. But this doesn't mean to say that it is unlikely for some people to let their cats and another pets sleep with them too.
It is facilitated too by dogs having a sleep pattern which is rather similar to our own. Dogs often have complete trust in their owners, which makes them a lot more relaxed during the night. This goes a long way to explaining why most dogs fall asleep easily and even go into a deep sleep where REM sleep activities can occur. In fact, once a dog goes into this phase, the owner often needs to call them several times before they can be roused from sleep completely.

If not correctly taken care of, dog bites can be one of the most hazardous of all animal bites. Thousands of people pass-away every year because of rabies from dog bites. Many victims of animal bites have the tendency to dismiss the seriousness of such wounds because they think that they are not dangerous and can be treated with simple hand washing the wound or by just taking antibiotics. What they are unaware of is, this type of bite can lead to life-threatening infections, disability, deformity or even death.
You can escape from an attacking dog through several means. Keeping a safe distance between the canine and yourself is the best way. Another effective way is to avoid provoking the dog to attack you. If you are concerned that building chicken coops for your broods is only for professional contractors or farmers, there is no need to be; it is easier than you think to build them yourself.
Before you start building anything, make sure you get a building permit. Check with your county and city government to find out which office (it could be both) will require the application. When you receive your permit, be sure it allows for chicken coops.
