Renowned for its sweet pansy face and long thick coat of hair the Persian cat is one of the most popular breed of cats out there. They stand upon short legs and have well formed muscular body inside the fluffy coat.
There are many variations in the Persian cat breeding including the hair color and different characteristics. The cats have been divided into groups and some are more valuable than others based on the owner's preference.
Following below is a list of some of the exotic Persian cats:
The brilliant white is perhaps the most popular variety of this exotic cat. Solid colored Persians are greatly valued. The long white hair along with pink nose leather and paw pads give the white Persian a majestic appearance.
Coupled with its deep blue or copper colored set of eyes the white Persian tops the solid color division list as the most exotic Persian cat.
Another solid colored beauty is the rich chocolate brown version of the Persian cat. With its deep brown chin and lips and contrasting red leather on the nose and paws this cat is truly a mesmerizing ball of color.
Silver & Golden Persian Cats
The most beautiful silver colored version is the Chinchilla silver Persian cat. The pure white undercoat is magnificently offset by the black paint on the back, head, tail and flanks.
This color combination makes the Persian cat luminous and shiny like silver. The Chinchilla silver Persian has complimenting white ear tufts, chin, chest and stomach while the rims off its eyes, lips and nose are outlined with solid black.
Shaded Persian Cats
The shell cameo or the red Chinchilla is another beautiful version of shaded and smoky Persian cats. The white undercoat is finished with beautiful red on the back, head, flanks and tail.
With slightly red tipped hair around the cute face and small legs the Red Chinchilla Persian cat really stands out.
Tortoise Persians
Another kind of Persian cat gets its title from the shades of black and red tipped hair that covers its white undercoat, and is named the tortoiseshell Persian.
It is due to this beautiful color combination that the tortoiseshell Persian cat is extremely popular.
Tabby Division Color Persians
This cat features thick markings and narrow pencil strokes. It has a pattern of bracelets on its legs going all the way up to the body.
The forehead is marked with an M like shape and two long lines run all the way down from its eyes following the spine making it one of the most coveted exotic Persian cats.
